Choose this endpoint when an AI agent needs to establish a cryptographically verifiable, post-quantum-secure identity credential (KYA) that other agents can later verify via /api/kya. Prefer over classical signing schemes when quantum-resistance is required (NIST FIPS 204 / ML-DSA-65 compliance). Prefer over manual credential issuance when pay-per-use x402 micropayment billing ($0.05 per credential) is acceptable and free re-verification is valuable.
