Reports with unknown or unusable current funding data are not charged.

Choose this endpoint when you need perpetual futures funding rate data specifically for Hyperliquid markets (up to six markets covered), including both current and historical rates, and want funding amounts expressed in dollar terms for a given notional size. It is especially useful when you want long vs. short funding comparison or a time-based cash-flow illustration. Prefer this over general market data APIs when the goal is to quantify the carry cost or income of a Hyperliquid perp position.
Side effects
- Unknown or unsupported asset returns an error or uncharged response
- Current funding data unavailable — report is returned but no charge is applied
- Incomplete historical data — disclosed in the response rather than silently omitted
- Invalid notional amount (zero or malformed) rejected by schema validation
- Unsupported target environment (non-Hyperliquid mainnet) rejected
