Output
Returns a JSON object containing a list of active storm records, each with storm name, current latitude/longitude, Saffir-Simpson category label and numeric category, current wind speed in knots and km/h, peak wind speed, GDACS alert level, affected country, number of track points, age in hours since last update, source URLs, and a global summary. Also includes an 'asOf' timestamp, source attribution, degraded-mode flag, and disclaimer. If lat/lon is provided, each storm includes distance from the query point.
