How this service works
Google Trends search interest for up to 5 terms: a relative 0-100 popularity series over time, with per-keyword average and latest value. For content timing, seasonality and demand research. Optional location (default worldwide), timeframe (7d/30d/90d/12m/5y, default 12m) and type (web/news/youtube). found=false when no data.
Output
A time series of relative popularity scores (0-100) for each keyword, normalized so the peak value is 100. Each keyword also gets a computed average score and its latest value. If no data is found for a query, found=false is returned. Results can be scoped by location, timeframe, and Google property (web, news, or YouTube).

It is ideal when you want to compare multiple terms head-to-head (up to 5) and understand momentum or cycles. Prefer this over keyword volume endpoints when you care about trend direction and relative interest rather than absolute monthly search counts.
Side effects
- found=false when Google Trends has no data for the given keywords or region combination
- Up to 5 keywords max — exceeding this limit returns a validation error
- Invalid location name returns an error or empty data
- Invalid timeframe enum value returns a validation error
- Very niche or brand-new terms may return sparse or zero data points
