When to prefer

Use this endpoint when you need semantic or keyword search over U.S. federal regulations (CFR) and/or U.S. Code statutes without holding a GovLaws API key, and you are willing to pay $0.03 USDC per request via the MPP 402 flow. Prefer this over the keyed /api/search endpoint when operating in keyless agent environments. Choose corpus='all' for broad legal research, 'regulations' for CFR-only, or 'statutes' for U.S. Code only.
