Choose this endpoint when you have a list of 2–20 email addresses and need Gravatar presence checked in a single call rather than making individual requests per email. It is preferable to the single-email endpoint when processing lists, as concurrent processing reduces total latency and a single payment covers the batch. Ideal for onboarding pipelines, CRM enrichment, or pre-send email campaign checks where avatar availability matters.
Side effects
- Invalid or malformed email addresses cause per-item errors rather than full batch failure
- Exceeding the 20-email batch limit may result in rejection or truncation
- Network timeouts on individual Gravatar lookups populate per-item error fields
- Payment not provided or insufficient USDC causes 402 rejection before any processing
- Duplicate emails in the batch are processed independently and may inflate failure counts
