How this service works
Scores a source along the dimensions that decide whether a claim can rest on it. Recency: how old the material is against how fast the field moves, because a five-year-old figure is fine in history and worthless in pricing. Directness: whether it reports its own research, official record or announcement, or relays someone else — every relay step loses detail and adds interpretation. Attribution: whether a named, identifiable author stands behind it.
