It is distinct from SVG generation (which creates from scratch) and image vectorization (which converts raster to SVG). Ideal when you need animated SVGs for web UI elements, brand logos, or illustrations and want AI to determine the appropriate animation style from a prompt.
Side effects
- Invalid or unreachable SVG URL — endpoint cannot fetch the source file
- Both url and base64 provided simultaneously — schema requires exactly one source
- SVG source is malformed or empty — cannot parse or animate
- Payment failure — USDC transaction on Base not confirmed
- Prompt too long (exceeds 4000 character limit)
- Low reasoning effort produces poor or minimal animation results for complex SVGs
