How this service works
Route an agent payment to a verified, live provider and get its data back. POST {"category":"web search / extract"} or {"url":"<x402 endpoint>","payload":{...}}; we pay the best real provider, chosen from on-chain settlement data rather than a stale directory, and return its response with proof of why we picked it. You pay the provider price + 10%, quoted in the 402 first. Settle-on-success: charged only after the provider delivers, never for a dead or hollow endpoint.
Output
Returns the chosen provider's full response payload plus metadata explaining why that provider was selected (derived from on-chain settlement data), along with the quoted price (provider price + 10%) billed only after successful delivery.

Choose this endpoint when an agent needs to call a provider from a dynamic category (e.g. web search/extract) without maintaining its own provider directory, wants on-chain proof of provider selection quality, and requires settle-on-success billing to avoid paying for dead or hollow endpoints. Prefer it over static directories or hardcoded provider URLs when provider liveness and quality matter.
Side effects
- No live providers available for the requested category — returns error with no charge
- Provider delivers a hollow or empty response — request is not charged, error returned
- Invalid category or malformed URL in payload — 400-level error with no charge
- Payment settlement fails on-chain — request aborted with no provider charge
