It aggregates and ranks all HL perps in one call rather than requiring you to poll each market individually. Prefer it over raw Hyperliquid API access when you want a pre-processed, LLM-ready response with an OI-weighted aggregate and freshness metadata, and when the $0.002 per-call cost is acceptable. Not suitable for real-time tick data or order execution.
Side effects
- Data older than expected if Hyperliquid public feed is delayed — age_s will reflect staleness
- Invalid coin ticker returns empty or filtered results rather than an error
