Use this endpoint when you need to calculate the Sanfilippo 2019 IMPEDE VTE risk score specifically for multiple myeloma patients. Prefer it over Khorana or SAVED score calculators when the patient has myeloma-specific risk factors like IMiD use, dexamethasone dosing, or Asian/Pacific Islander identity modifier. This endpoint uses the IMPEDE model only — it does not compute Khorana, SAVED, or general surgical VTE scores.
Side effects
- Missing required query parameter returns an error (all 10 factors are required)
- Invalid enum value for dexamethasone or thromboprophylaxis returns a validation error
- Boolean fields passed as strings instead of true/false may cause parsing errors
- Score is not a prophylaxis recommendation and should not be used as one
