Use this endpoint when you have received a single-use link code minted by another channel (via the mint-link-code endpoint) and want to merge the current channel into that existing buyer account. This is the second step in a two-step channel-linking flow — first mint a code on the source channel, then redeem it here on the target channel.
Side effects
- Expired code: link codes are only valid for 10 minutes after minting; returns error if expired
- Invalid or already-used code: single-use codes cannot be redeemed twice
- Code not found: if the code string is malformed or does not exist
- Missing required field: request body missing `code` field returns 400 validation error
- Channel already linked: this channel may already be associated with a buyer account
