How this service works
Change watch for ip address info: runs the check and compares it with the result from your previous call for the same ip (kept 90 days), returning the current answer, changed true/false, exactly which fields changed with before/after values, and when it was last seen. Call it on a schedule to be told when ip address intelligence in one call changes. $0.01 per check.
Output
Returns the current IP intelligence data snapshot, a boolean indicating whether anything changed since the last call, a list of exactly which fields changed with their before and after values, and a timestamp of when the IP was last seen. Historical comparison data is retained for 90 days.

Choose this endpoint when you need to detect changes in IP address intelligence over time rather than just performing a one-time lookup. It is ideal for scheduled monitoring workflows where you want to be told exactly what changed (field-by-field diffs) without having to store and compare results yourself. Prefer it over a plain IP info lookup when your use case is surveillance, alerting, or drift detection.
Side effects
- Missing or invalid IP address parameter returns an error
- IP not previously queried returns no diff data on first call (no baseline)
- Network timeout reaching the intel provider
- IP address in reserved/private range may return limited or no data
- Baseline data older than 90 days is purged, causing a fresh baseline to be established
