Prefer the single-IP endpoint only when checking one address; prefer this for any multi-IP workflow like mail queue screening, abuse triage, or hosting customer audits.
Side effects
- Exceeding 20 IPs in a single call may be rejected or truncated
- Individual IP lookup failures are surfaced via per-item error field rather than failing the whole batch
- Invalid or non-IPv4 addresses may produce per-item errors
- Payment failure (x402) will block the entire batch call
- Network timeouts to SpamRATS DNS may increment failure count
