Pay-per-call data settled in USDC on Base. No account, no API key, no human in the loop. Measured 2026-10-05: p50 89-105 ms end-to-end over the public internet; our own handling cost is reported per response in the X-Kenward-Serve-Ms header. Safe by construction: the server holds no private key (/health reports holds_keys=false), a signed payment is delivered once, and an unmeasured market answers UNKNOWN instead of a guess. Launch price: 0.025 USD (50% off 0.05) for the first 100 unique paying wallets (excluding the operator's own wallet).

It requires no API key or account — only a one-time USDC micropayment on Base via the x402 protocol.
Side effects
- Unmeasured or unknown venue returns status UNKNOWN rather than guessing — agent should not treat UNKNOWN as a definitive answer
- Invalid or unrecognized venue ID may return an error or UNKNOWN status
- Network latency spikes beyond the typical p50 of 89-105 ms under high load
- Payment settlement failure on Base chain could block access — USDC balance must be sufficient
- Stale data if the venue's public status surfaces have not been recently updated
