It is especially valuable in voice-first or conversational agents where place references are inherently ambiguous and disambiguation against a known anchor position is required. Prefer it over generic geocoding when the input is vague, relational, or context-dependent rather than a structured address or proper business name.
Side effects
- Ambiguous reference that cannot be resolved to a single place — returns error or low-confidence result
