How this service works
Re-issue the credential for 90 more days. The company signs the renewal challenge with an e-CNPJ in force (not revoked); the company must still be ATIVA at the Receita.
Output
Returns a renewed credential object with an updated validity window of 90 days from the renewal date, along with the credential status confirming re-issuance. The company must be ATIVA at Receita Federal and must sign the renewal challenge with a non-revoked e-CNPJ.
Example use cases
Pre-expiry automated credential renewal
“Our AI agent's KYA Brasil credential expires in 3 days — renew it now for another 90 days so it doesn't lose authorization to act on behalf of our CNPJ.”
Post-suspension credential reactivation
“We just confirmed that our company is back to ATIVA status at Receita Federal and our e-CNPJ is valid again — can you renew the KYA Brasil credential with ID cred_xyz789 for 90 more days?”
Scheduled quarterly agent re-authorization
“It's time for our quarterly refresh — renew the KYA Brasil agent credential for credential ID cred_q1_2025 so our automated compliance agent keeps its mandate for the next 90 days.”

Endpoint
POSThttps://kya-br-agents.marcelfons.workers.dev/v1/agents/:id/renew?utm_source=zero.xyzWhen to prefer
Use this endpoint when an existing KYA Brasil agent credential is approaching or has recently reached its 90-day expiry and the underlying Brazilian company remains ATIVA at Receita Federal with a valid e-CNPJ. This is the correct renewal path (not re-registration) for maintaining continuity of an agent's authorization without creating a new credential from scratch.
Side effects
- Company is not ATIVA at Receita Federal — renewal rejected
- e-CNPJ is revoked or expired — signing challenge fails
- Invalid or unknown credential_id — 404 not found
- Credential already expired beyond renewal window — cannot renew
- Payment of 0.1 USDC not completed via x402 protocol — 402 Payment Required
- Malformed POST body or missing required fields — 400 Bad Request
