How this service works
Creates a fresh browser context for one HTTPS page, obeys robots.txt, refuses login walls, CAPTCHAs and paywalls, renders JavaScript, returns a sanitized DOM and/or base64 PNG, and destroys the context after the request. There is no reusable cookie jar, session handle, login automation or navigation step list. The runtime ceiling is 60 seconds and the returned DOM is capped at 1 MiB.
Output
Returns a JSON object containing: a `dom` field with sanitized HTML text (up to 1 MiB) if dom or both was requested, and/or a `screenshot` field with a base64-encoded PNG if screenshot or both was requested. The browser context is fully destroyed after the request — no cookies, sessions, or state persist.

Choose this endpoint when you need a single disposable browser render of a public HTTPS page with JavaScript execution, and you do not need login automation, multi-step navigation, or session persistence. It is ideal for one-shot DOM extraction or screenshot capture of SPAs and JavaScript-rendered pages where raw HTTP fetching would return incomplete content. Prefer it over multi-step browser endpoints when only one page load is needed, and over static fetchers when JavaScript rendering is required.
Side effects
- URL is not a public HTTPS address (credentials or private IPs rejected) — returns 400
- Page requires login, CAPTCHA, or is behind a paywall — request is refused
- Page fails to load within the specified timeout_seconds — returns timeout error
- Rendered DOM exceeds 1 MiB cap — content is truncated or error returned
- robots.txt disallows crawling — request is rejected
- Network error or DNS resolution failure for the target URL — returns error
