How this service works
Lead verify for one NL or BE sales lead: is it a real, active company? Checks the KVK or KBO register and cross-checks what the lead holds: VAT with VIES, mail server and disposable domain, IBAN country and bank (not the holder), and the company name against the OFAC, EU and UN sanctions lists. Returns a verdict, a 0-100 lead score and flags, each with one action. An input not given is not checked.

Returns a JSON object containing: a verdict (e.g. 'real_active'), a lead_score (0-100), company registration details (status, legal form, registered name, address, age, employees, SBI code), VAT check result with name match, IBAN validity with BIC and bank name, email MX and disposable check, sanctions screening results across named lists, dormant/shell company signals, address and name match scores, and metadata on which sources were checked.

It is ideal for B2B sales pipelines, supplier onboarding, or fraud prevention workflows where you need a structured verdict and lead score rather than raw data. Prefer it over generic company data APIs when you need sanctions checks and shell company signals alongside registry data, and when your leads are specifically Netherlands or Belgium entities.
Side effects
- Missing required fields: neither company_number nor name provided — returns validation error
- BE country without company_number — required for Belgian KBO lookup, returns error
- Invalid IBAN format — local validation fails before API call
- VAT number not found in VIES — returns checked:true, valid:null with reason
