This endpoint does NOT fetch source documents, verify that cited passages exist, or validate that claims are supported by the sources — it only checks for exact mismatches in the declared metadata fields. Prefer it over general-purpose validation tools when you specifically need citation-binding-level integrity checks with a verifiable receipt digest.
