Use this endpoint when an agent or user has already minted a link code from an existing buyer account on another channel and wants to merge the current channel into that same buyer account. This is the counterpart to the 'Mint link code' endpoint and must be called within the 10-minute code validity window. Prefer this over account creation flows when the buyer account already exists elsewhere.

- Invalid or expired link code (codes expire after 10 minutes) — returns error indicating code not found or expired
- Code already consumed (single-use only) — returns error indicating code was already used
- Malformed request body (missing or empty `code` field) — returns validation error
