Use this endpoint when you have an existing Munition direct-upload file whose public link is approaching expiry and you want to extend it without re-uploading. It is the only way to extend a Munition upload link without creating a new upload slot. Prefer this over re-uploading when the file is already accessible at its current URL and you want to preserve that link.
Side effects
- Upload ID not found — returns 404 if the specified upload ID does not exist
- Renewal cap exceeded — returns an error if extending would push the expiry beyond 30 days from original upload
- Insufficient payment — x402 payment of 0.005 USDC not completed or rejected
- Already expired — file link has already expired and cannot be renewed
- Malformed ID — upload ID is not in the expected format
