Use this endpoint when you need to calculate EU CBAM liability for multiple shipments (2–100) in a single API call rather than making individual calls per shipment. It is more cost-efficient and faster than looping the single-shipment endpoint because one live ETS price lookup is shared across the whole batch. Ideal for compliance automation pipelines, freight forwarder quoting tools, or quarterly portfolio-level CBAM exposure reporting.
Side effects
- More than 100 shipments submitted — batch size limit exceeded, returns 400 error
- Invalid or missing embedded emissions data for one or more shipments
- Unsupported CBAM commodity code — returns validation error per shipment
- ETS price feed temporarily unavailable — service may return 503
