How this service works
Every buff, nerf and fix for World of Warcraft: Forever, World of Warcraft (Retail), Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, VALORANT, Deadlock and WARDOGS.

Returns a JSON object with a results array of individual change records (each with before/after stat values, ability name, change type, patch version, publication date, and a human-readable summary), plus a history array showing the aggregate patch history for the queried target, total change count, and whether the result set was truncated.

Choose this endpoint when you need structured, queryable patch change data for a specific champion, hero, weapon, or ability across supported games (WoW Forever, WoW Retail, CS2, LoL, VALORANT, Deadlock, WARDOGS). Prefer it over scraping patch note pages when you need machine-readable before/after stat deltas, change type classification (buff/nerf/fix/adjust), or historical patch coverage for a named target.
Side effects
- Missing required 'target' query parameter returns an error
- Unrecognized game slug or change_type enum value may return empty results or an error
- Target name not found in any patch returns count:0 with empty results array
- Requesting more than 500 results (limit cap exceeded) may be rejected or capped
- Payment failure (x402 protocol) blocks the request before it reaches the API
