It is especially valuable when you need to benchmark a specific prefix against its sibling prefixes from the same origin AS — something raw peer-count tools cannot provide. Prefer it over simple reachability checks when diagnosing propagation issues or auditing route health for multi-prefix ASes.
Side effects
