How this service works
Ni Biashara Shelves. FX product: AI Money — Africa FX. Official rates are Frankfurter's blend of published reference rates (not a single central-bank fixing). Street rates for USD-NGN and USD-GHS are the Bybit P2P order book. Also business services, sold per call to AI agents. Ni Biashara LLC, Dallas TX. Legacy GET /api/parallel/{pair} charges $0.01; GET /shelf/fx-parallel charges the catalog price.
Output
A JSON object containing the currency pair label, a 7-day window identifier, and an array of daily data points each with a timestamp, the parallel market mid-rate, and the spread percentage between official and parallel rates.
Example use cases
Monitoring naira parallel rate drift
“Show me how the USD-NGN parallel street rate has moved over the past 7 days, including the daily spread percentage — I want to see if it's been widening or narrowing.”
Ghana cedi arbitrage analysis
“Get me the 7-day history of the USD-GHS parallel mid-rate and spread so I can figure out if there's been an arbitrage window between the official and street rates this week.”
Remittance timing decision for Nigeria
“I'm about to send money to Nigeria — can you pull the last 7 days of USD-NGN parallel rates so I can see whether now is a good time or if I should wait?”
Technical details
Endpoint
GEThttps://agents.nibiashara.biz/shelf/fx-parallel-history-7d?utm_source=zero.xyzWhen to prefer
Choose this endpoint when you need a time-series view of parallel/street exchange rates for Nigerian naira (NGN) or Ghanaian cedi (GHS) over the past week, particularly when official rates are insufficient and you need P2P order book-derived pricing. Prefer this over the single-rate endpoint when trend analysis, spread tracking, or historical context is required.
Side effects
- Missing or invalid 'pair' query parameter returns an error — only USD-NGN and USD-GHS are supported
- Requesting an unsupported currency pair (e.g. USD-KES) will result in a validation or not-found error
- Payment failure or unpaid x402 request returns HTTP 402 before data is delivered
- Data gaps may exist if P2P order book had insufficient liquidity on a given day
- Network timeout if upstream P2P data source is slow to respond
