How this service works
Arm a price trigger with webhook delivery. Arms a single-fire price trigger. NythosX checks the price every minute and POSTs a JSON event to your HTTPS webhook on the first crossing, signed with HMAC-SHA256 (header X-NythosX-Signature: sha256=<hex> over the raw body, key = returned secret). Expires after ttl_hours (default 168, max 720). Check status free at GET /api/v1/triggers/status?id=.
Output
Returns a JSON object containing a unique trigger ID, the HMAC signing secret (whsec_...) to verify incoming webhook POSTs, the asset's current price, the expiry timestamp, and a status URL for free polling. When the price crosses the threshold, NythosX POSTs a signed JSON event to the provided webhook URL with an X-NythosX-Signature header.

Choose this endpoint when you need a programmatic, one-shot price alert delivered to a machine-readable webhook rather than a human notification channel. It is ideal for agentic workflows where a downstream system (trading bot, order executor, event pipeline) needs to react automatically when a price level is crossed. Prefer this over polling-based approaches when you want sub-minute latency without maintaining your own price-feed connection. The HMAC signature makes it safe for security-sensitive downstream processing.
Side effects
- Invalid or unsupported symbol — only BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, LTC, ADA, XRP, XDC, NVDA, MSFT, AMZN, AAPL, USDPHP are accepted
- webhook_url is not a public HTTPS URI — rejects non-HTTPS or unreachable URLs
- price must be greater than 0 — zero or negative values rejected
- ttl_hours out of range — must be 1–720
- Payment of 0.02 USDC not fulfilled — x402 payment required
- Trigger expires without crossing — fires once only, never re-arms automatically
- Webhook endpoint unreachable at delivery time — trigger may silently fail to deliver
