How this service works
Current prices for cryptocurrencies and tokens by symbol (btc, eth, sol, usdc, ...), CoinGecko slug, or on-chain token address on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana and 100+ chains, using DeFiLlama's aggregated DEX/CEX pricing with a per-asset confidence score. Quote in USD or any ECB fiat currency. Up to 25 assets per call. $0.002 per call.
Output
A JSON object containing, for each requested asset: a normalized id, current price in the requested quote currency, price in USD, the asset symbol, token decimals (for on-chain tokens), the timestamp the price was recorded, and a confidence score between 0 and 1. Also includes the data source attribution, overall response latency in milliseconds, any warnings, and a fetched_at timestamp.

Prefer alternatives if you need historical price series, order book depth, or trading execution.
Side effects
- Unrecognized asset symbol or slug returns an error or omits the asset from results
- Invalid chain:address format causes a lookup failure for that token
- Requesting more than 25 assets at once exceeds the limit
- Unsupported quote currency code returns an error
- Payment failure (x402) if USDC balance is insufficient or wallet not configured
- Stale or low-confidence data flagged via warnings array when on-chain liquidity is thin
