Prefer this over generic market data APIs that lack supply-age segmentation, or over building your own UTXO/account-age analysis from raw node data.
Side effects
- Unknown or unsupported chain slug returns empty data array (not an error — per schema convention, empty array means no rows in range)
- Missing chain parameter defaults to bitcoin
- Response may return empty data if historical coverage for the requested chain is limited
- Payment not processed results in HTTP 402 response before data is returned
- Malformed query parameters may return a 4xx error
