Use this endpoint when you need to fetch pages from websites that actively block scrapers, bots, or automated requests via bot-detection, CAPTCHAs, or IP blocking. It is ideal for JavaScript-rendered single-page applications where a plain HTTP GET returns empty content. Prefer this over a plain HTTP fetch when the target site uses dynamic rendering, anti-bot middleware, or requires cookie/session context. No API key is required — only a per-call USDC micropayment via x402.
Side effects
- Target URL is unreachable or returns non-success status codes not in success_status_codes list
- JavaScript rendering timeout if the page takes too long to reach the specified wait_until state
- Required success_selectors never appear on the page, causing the request to fail
