How this service works
Crypto news feed, $0.0008 USDC per call: deduplicated headlines from 37 public sources (CoinDesk, Cointelegraph, The Block, Decrypt, DL News, Blockworks, Ethereum/Solana/Base blogs, Uniswap/Aave/Arbitrum/Optimism forums, GitHub releases of geth, reth, agave, Bitcoin Core). Each item: title, source url, source, published_at, topics, tickers, summary. Filters: topics, tickers, q, type. since cursor returns only new items. Refreshed every ~9 min. Free: /v1/preview (latest 5) and /v1/count?since= (how many new items before you pay). Accepts otto crypto-news style no-arg GET. By orbit-builder.
Output
A JSON object containing an array of news items (each with id, title, URL, source, published_at, topics, tickers, summary, and source_type), a count, a next_since cursor for polling, and metadata about feed freshness including how many of the 37 sources are currently healthy and when the feed was last updated.

Ideal for polling workflows using the since cursor, filtering by specific topics, tickers, or content types (news vs blog vs governance vs release), and when you want structured metadata (topics, tickers, summaries) rather than raw RSS. At $0.0008 per call it is cost-effective for frequent polling.
Side effects
- Stale feed if fewer than expected sources are healthy (meta.freshness=stale, meta.staleness_sec elevated)
- Empty results if filters are too narrow or since cursor is too recent
- Invalid topic/ticker values silently fall back to keyword matching in title/summary
- Rate-limited or payment failure if USDC micropayment (x402) is not properly handled
- Truncated response if limit exceeds 100
