How this service works
Pay USDC to add that amount to a URL's rank on the public board. Rank is the bid. The amount you pay is the amount credited.
Output
The endpoint confirms the USDC payment was processed and the bid amount has been credited to the URL's rank on the outbid.sh public leaderboard. The URL's new rank equals the cumulative total of all bids placed on it.

Use this endpoint when you want to publicly promote a URL or @handle by paying USDC to elevate its position on the outbid.sh leaderboard. It is the only endpoint for participating in the outbid.sh pay-to-rank mechanism. It is appropriate for competitive link promotion where rank is determined entirely by cumulative bid amount rather than algorithmic criteria.
Side effects
- Insufficient USDC balance — payment fails and no rank is credited
- Amount below minimum (0.01 USDC) — request rejected
- Invalid or non-HTTPS URL — schema validation error
- Description exceeds 280 characters — request rejected
- x402 payment protocol error — payment not processed, no rank change
