Side effects
- URL is blocked by robots.txt — fetch is refused and an appropriate error is returned
- HTTP status non-200 — the response will include the actual HTTP status code received
- Page exceeds max_chars — content is truncated and truncated flag is set to true
- Invalid or malformed URL — request fails with a validation error
- Timeout on slow or unresponsive servers — fetch fails with a timeout error
- max_chars below 200 or above 20000 — validation error returned
