Side effects
- URL is not reachable or returns non-200 HTTP status — diff cannot be computed
- No baseline exists yet for this URL (first call) — returns empty diff with initial snapshot stored
- Page returns non-text content (binary, PDF, etc.) — extraction may fail or return empty lines
- Baseline expired after 90 days — treated as a first call, new baseline stored
- Rate limiting or payment failure — endpoint returns 402 or 429 error
