How this service works
PDL Person Enrich — career history, emails, phone. Requires one of: `email`, `profile` (LinkedIn URL), or `first_name` + `last_name` + (`company_name` OR `company_domain`). `{ first_name, last_name }` alone returns 400. Prefer `email` when known, then `profile`. No match: HTTP 200, status 404, data null — not billed. Match: $0.28.
Output
Returns a structured person profile including full career history (employer names, titles, date ranges), known email addresses, phone numbers, education, and social profiles. If no match is found, returns HTTP 200 with a 404 status and null data — no charge applies. A successful match costs $0.28 per call.

Use this endpoint when you need to enrich a known person's professional profile — especially when you have their email address (highest match rate) or LinkedIn URL. It is the right choice for CRM enrichment, sales prospecting, recruiting research, or any workflow requiring structured career history and contact data. Prefer email input when available; fall back to LinkedIn profile URL or name plus company domain. Do not use for company/org lookups or bulk batch enrichment — this endpoint is optimized for single-person resolution.
Side effects
- Insufficient input (e.g. first_name + last_name alone without company) returns HTTP 400
- No match found returns HTTP 200 with status 404 and data: null (not billed)
- Invalid LinkedIn URL or malformed email may return no match
- Rate limiting or authentication errors may return 4xx/5xx responses
- Person exists in PDL database but with limited data fields populated
