Ideal for backtesting pipelines, strategy evaluation workflows, and performance reporting where you already have the raw trade results and just need the metric calculated accurately and cheaply at $0.002 per call.
Side effects
- Empty or missing pnl_cash array returns a validation error
- Array exceeds 5000 items limit causes rejection
- Individual values outside ±1,000,000,000,000 range are rejected
- All values being positive (no losses) may result in undefined or infinite profit factor
- Non-numeric values in the array cause schema validation failure
- Payment failure via x402 protocol results in 402 response before computation
