Use this endpoint when you need to retrieve DeFi protocol-specific positions (lending, staking, liquidity) for one or more wallets, as opposed to raw token balances or NFT holdings. Prefer this over the token balances endpoint when the user cares about app-level positions like Aave deposits, Uniswap LP shares, or Compound borrows.
Side effects
- Invalid or malformed wallet addresses return an error
- Missing required 'addresses' or 'first' fields causes a validation error
- Empty addresses array returns no results
- Rate limiting or payment failure may block the request
- Addresses with no DeFi positions return empty records
