How this service works
Store a secret (credential, token, key) for later retrieval — encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Returns an id + access token; fetch later by id+token. Max 16KB. For agent state that must survive across runs.
Output
Returns a JSON object with 'ok' (boolean success flag), 'id' (unique secret identifier string), and 'access_token' (bearer token required to read or delete the secret later). Both the id and access_token must be retained to retrieve the secret in a future call.

Choose this endpoint when an AI agent needs to persist sensitive credentials, tokens, or keys across multiple runs or sessions without storing them in plaintext. It is ideal for agent-to-agent secret handoff or when an agent's runtime state includes secrets that must survive restarts. Prefer this over in-memory storage or environment variables when AES-256-GCM encryption at rest and a token-gated retrieval mechanism are needed. Best suited for small secrets up to 16KB.
