Create a Quicknode account and blockchain-infrastructure subscription paid with USDC via x402. Returns a Console API key (QN_*). Call without plan_name to list available plans and prices in the 402 body.

Output

On successful subscription creation, returns a QuickNode Console API key prefixed with QN_* that can be used to access blockchain RPC endpoints and QuickNode services. If called without a plan_name, returns a 402 response body listing available plans and their USDC prices.

Use this endpoint when an AI agent needs to programmatically provision QuickNode blockchain infrastructure access and pay with USDC via x402, receiving an API key without any manual browser-based signup. Prefer this over manual registration when automating Web3 agent pipelines that require RPC node access. It is the only known x402-enabled path to a QuickNode Console API key.

Side effects

Missing required fields (name, email, password, full_name, billing_address, plan_name) returns a 4xx validation error
Password does not meet complexity requirements (lowercase, uppercase, digit, special character) causes rejection
password_confirmation does not match password causes rejection
Invalid or already-registered email address causes account creation failure
Invalid plan_name causes subscription failure — call without plan_name first to enumerate valid plans
Invalid country code in billing_address causes rejection
Payment header missing or USDC payment insufficient triggers 402 with plan pricing details
Network or provider downtime may cause 5xx errors
