How this service works
Change watch for reading time: runs the check and compares it with the result from your previous call for the same url (kept 90 days), returning the current answer, changed true/false, exactly which fields changed with before/after values, and when it was last seen. Call it on a schedule to be told when reading time and word count for a page changes. $0.01 per check.

Side effects
- URL is unreachable or returns a non-200 status, resulting in an error response
- No prior result stored (first call for a URL) — changed will be false or null with no diff
- URL returns content that cannot be parsed for text (e.g. binary files)
- Stored baseline expired after 90 days, losing the comparison reference
- Rate limiting or payment failure if the $0.02 per-call fee is not settled
