Use this endpoint as the entry point when you need to discover DeFi protocol, asset, pool, or chain nodes by name or on-chain address before traversing the risk graph. It is the only discovery path — use it before calling node-detail or dependency endpoints that require a nodeId. Prefer it when you need to filter by risk grade (A–F), TVL range, or node label type to narrow results upfront.
