Use this endpoint when you need a bounded, deterministic accept/reject result against spectral criteria you define — ideal for gating pipeline steps based on signal quality or compliance. Prefer this over raw FFT endpoints when you need a true/false decision per frequency band rule rather than raw spectral data. Do not use when you need hardware ground truth, causal signal diagnosis, continuous streaming analysis, or physical claims beyond what spectral metrics can assert. Pair with the RQM Convert Capture To Spectrum endpoint if you first need to produce a spectral artifact before validating it.
Side effects
- Invalid or mismatched frequency range (minimum_hz >= maximum_hz) causes rule rejection
- Sample count exceeds 4096-sample limit, triggering a validation error
