How this service works
New and existing business entities from four state registries (CO, OR, NY, CT) in one schema, filterable by state, formation date, city, county and entity type. Nightly refresh of each state's open-data file covering the last 400 days of formations; a `since` date returns only what is new.
Output
A list of business entity records from the requested state registries, each containing at minimum the entity name, formation date, state, entity type, registry status, and principal address city (plus county for NY rows). Results are filtered to match all provided criteria and cover formations within the last 400 days.

Choose this endpoint when you need bulk discovery or monitoring of new business formations across CO, OR, NY, or CT — especially for lead generation, market research, or daily delta feeds. It is better than the sibling entity-lookup endpoint when you don't have a specific entity in mind and want filtered lists. Prefer it over general web search when you need structured, normalized registry data with date filtering.
Side effects
- No results returned if filters are too narrow (e.g. rare entity type in a small city)
- County filter only returns NY records; applying it with non-NY states yields empty or NY-only results
- Date range outside 400-day window returns no data
- Invalid state code or enum value causes validation error
- since date in future returns empty result set
- Name substring with special characters may not match as expected
