It is especially useful for fact-checking, research tasks requiring corroboration, or any scenario where agreement between sources signals reliability. Prefer it over single-provider search when the cost of acting on a wrong result is high. It requires no account creation and uses x402 micropayments per call.
Side effects
- One or more upstream providers (Exa, Tavily) unavailable — response may return degraded:true with partial results
- Payment not attached or insufficient — x402 payment required before results are returned
- Query string missing or malformed — likely returns 4xx error
- Both providers down simultaneously — no results returned
- Cache miss with slow upstream latency — response time increases significantly
