How this service works
Change watch for security grade: runs the check and compares it with the result from your previous call for the same domain (kept 90 days), returning the current answer, changed true/false, exactly which fields changed with before/after values, and when it was last seen. Call it on a schedule to be told when security grade a-f for a website in one number changes. $0.01 per check.
Output
Returns the current security grade (A–F expressed as a single score), a boolean indicating whether anything changed since the last call for this domain, a detailed list of fields that changed with their before and after values, and the timestamp of when the previous result was last seen. Previous results are retained for 90 days.

Choose this endpoint when you need to detect changes in a website's overall security grade over time rather than just fetching the current grade. It is ideal for scheduled monitoring workflows where you only want to act when something actually changes, and you need field-level diffs (before/after values) to understand what specifically shifted. It is more efficient than calling a point-in-time security check repeatedly and manually diffing results yourself.
Side effects
- Domain not resolvable or unreachable — check may return an error or empty grade
- First-time call for a domain has no previous result to compare against, so changed will be false or baseline
- Cached result older than 90 days is purged, causing a fresh baseline rather than a diff
- Malformed or missing domain input parameter returns a validation error
- Payment failure (x402) prevents the check from running
