How this service works
Change watch for sentence split: runs the check and compares it with the result from your previous call for the same url (kept 90 days), returning the current answer, changed true/false, exactly which fields changed with before/after values, and when it was last seen. Call it on a schedule to be told when page text split into sentences changes. $0.01 per check.
Output
Returns the current list of sentences extracted from the page, a boolean indicating whether anything changed since the last call, a detailed field-level diff showing exactly which sentences were added, removed, or modified (with before and after values), and a timestamp of when the page was last seen. Historical results are retained for 90 days.

Use this endpoint when you need sentence-granularity change detection on a web page and want to know exactly which sentences appeared, disappeared, or changed — not just whether the page hash is different. Ideal for scheduled polling workflows where you call on a cadence and need structured before/after diffs stored server-side. Prefer over generic page-hash monitors when the downstream task requires understanding what textual content changed, such as tracking legal documents, news articles, or competitor copy.
Side effects
- URL is unreachable or returns a non-200 status — check will fail or return an error response
- First-time call has no previous result to compare against — changed flag may be null or false with no diff
- Page returns dynamic JavaScript-rendered content that cannot be fetched server-side — sentence extraction may be incomplete
- URL changes redirect destination — comparison may reflect redirect rather than target page
- 90-day retention window exceeded — previous result purged, no diff available
