Prefer it over generic news APIs when credibility scoring and x402 micropayment-gated premium content are required. Use the free discovery mode (quality_status, since, limit, cursor) for browsing available signal inventory before committing payment.
Side effects
- Payment of $0.01 USDC not processed — returns teaser/limited signals instead of full premium content
- Invalid or expired UUIDs in ids parameter — signals array returns empty or partial results
- Invalid cursor value — pagination fails with an error response
- since timestamp in wrong format — filter ignored or 400 error returned
- Requested limit exceeds 100 — capped or rejected
- No premium signals available at query time — returns empty signals array with count 0
