How this service works
Official Slovak business registry (RPO) search via api.statistics.sk (Statistical Office of the SR). Query: ?q=31333532 (8-digit ICO) or ?q=eset (name; historic names also match, current-name hits rank first). Optional active_only=true, limit 1-5. Returns per entity: ICO, current name, legal form, address, source register, establishment/termination dates. Personal data of individual entrepreneurs is stripped (GDPR). 24h cache.

Returns a list of matching Slovak legal entities (up to 5), each with ICO, current name, legal form, registered address, source register, establishment date, and termination date (if applicable). Personal data of individual entrepreneurs is stripped for GDPR compliance. Results are cached for 24 hours.

Prefer over generic web search when structured corporate data (ICO, legal form, address, dates) is needed for Slovak entities specifically. For Czech companies, use the sibling ARES endpoint instead.
