Use when an agent is about to send to, sign up, or accept an email address and wants to avoid bounces, throwaway or mistyped addresses. One address per call; no SMTP mailbox probing.

A JSON response containing a top-level verdict (deliverable_likely, risky, or invalid) along with detailed reason flags covering: syntax validity, MX/A DNS record presence, whether the domain is on a known disposable-provider list, whether the address is a role account (e.g. info@, admin@), whether it's a free provider (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo), a typo suggestion if applicable, SPF/DMARC/DKIM authentication record status, and domain age signal.

Prefer this over a simple syntax validator when domain-level signals (MX records, disposable lists, SPF/DMARC) matter for deliverability or fraud prevention.
Side effects
- Invalid or missing email parameter returns an error or invalid verdict
- Newly registered domains may have incomplete DNS records leading to uncertain verdicts
- Some disposable providers not yet in the list may pass as deliverable_likely
- No SMTP mailbox probing means a syntactically valid address on a live domain may still be non-existent
- Payment failure (402) if USDC balance is insufficient
