Output
Returns a list of matching records from public declassified/leaked document archives, each containing a document ID, a short text snippet showing the matched context, and a URL pointing to the original public source document. Results are scoped to already-public corpora (GIFiles, Podesta emails, Cablegate, Epstein filings, ICIJ datasets).

Choose this endpoint when you need to search already-public, officially leaked, or declassified document archives (WikiLeaks corpora, ICIJ datasets, Epstein court records) and need primary-source doc IDs and URLs for citation. Prefer this over general web search when the user specifically wants canonical leaked or declassified records rather than news coverage about them. Do not use this for paywalled academic papers, live government FOIA portals, or any content not already in the indexed public archive set.
Side effects
- Empty result set if query terms do not appear in indexed corpora
- Missing or null snippet if document indexing did not capture body text
- Invalid query parameter (q missing or empty) returns 400-level error
- limit out of range (>8 or <1) rejected by schema validation
- Deep index flag may increase latency or time out on broad queries
- No results from corpora not yet indexed or outside the supported archive set
